A Class About Insights, Evolving Artistic Expression, and Lessons Learned
With 50 years as a photographer, including 20 years as a professional, I've accumulated a few insights along the way. This class is a chance for us to explore how artistic expression evolves, using my own journey as a backdrop. We'll delve into the lessons I've learned, the things I might have done differently, and how my personal style has changed over the decades. More importantly, you'll be encouraged to push your own creative boundaries, discover deeper meaning in your work, and rediscover the joy of photography. At this point in my career, I'm passionate about sharing these hard-earned insights in a heartfelt way, hoping they'll resonate with you. And, as an added bonus, this class supports a great cause, the Texas Music Project.
Helping the Texas Music Project
This is a bit of a unique class. I am not charging anything for you to attend this class. Instead, I am simply asking you to make a donation to the Texas Music Project. :-)
By making this donation to the Texas Music Project, you are supporting Texas Music education and music therapy for children who need hope and healing.
Their Music Heals Program has been instrumental in bringing hope, joy and healing to children facing medical challenges as a part of their journey to wellness throughout Texas. They partner with Texas hospitals to provide funding, resources, instruments and connect them with artists to help equip their music therapy programs. Their programs are also customized to offer underprivileged and disadvantaged youth the opportunity to experience the magic of learning and expressing themselves through music.
I sincerely hope you will join me in this effort to help the Texas Music Project in their mission to help children through music. In fact, I am counting on you. Sign up for this special class I am offering, and make a donation that can change a young person's life. I encourage you to donate $100 (or more if you are able). Our goal is to raise $3000. Please do what you can to help us reach this goal (and thank you).
Consider this class as "the arts supporting the arts"
In this case, photography supporting music, supporting children.

Kevin Gourley Photography Workshops
I offer a wide range of photography workshops. I've been teaching photographers for decades! In my studio in NW Austin, I offer classes for both beginner and advanced photographers. I also believe that photographers should find ways to use their gifts to make a positive difference in the community.
"Kevin is one of the very best portrait photographers I have encountered in my 40+ years around the Austin photo scene. When you see his work it’s obvious that his clients have a ball working with him; he’s a great guy and he knows his stuff. Five stars for sure.” – Jon Leatherwood
"Kevin is a fantastic instructor who is extremely knowledgable, friendly and ready to answer any question. He combines classroom instruction with hands on experience while explaining the material in clear, easy to understand ways. I would strongly recommend this instructor."
"Kevin has so much experience and great tips for every issue you could possibly think of. He doesn't only teach the theory, I could really tell that he actually DOES what he's talking about - these are real tips from a real photographer."
"Kevin is an excellent teacher and really helped me take my photography skills to the next level. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge, but he is one of the most kind and compassionate people you will ever meet. I can't wait to sign up for more classes with him!"
"I appreciate you and your kindness. It’s what keeps me as your loyal customer."
