Studio Photography Workshop with Model Morgan Lee O'Hair
We are hosting this special workshop as a unique fundraiser to help the Spina Bifida Association (SBA)!
What is Spina Bifida?
Spina bifida is a birth defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don't form properly. Each year approximately 1,400 babies born in the United States have spina bifida, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The exact cause of Spina Bifida is unknown. Why the Spina Bifida Association?
I have a very personal reason for supporting the SBA. Our grandson, Carson, had a difficult battle with cancer at a very young age, and deals with lasting impact from damage to nerves in his spine. Even though he does not have Spina Bifida, the impact of his nerve damage is very similar to Spina Bifida, and the resources provided by the SBA have been so helpful to Carson and his parents. Why are we doing this workshop with our model Morgan Lee O'Hair?
She has participated in other fundraising for the SBA because she knows first-hand about Spina Bifida. Morgan has a rare form of Spina Bifida called lipomyelomeningocele.

We provide the model, studio, lighting. YOU bring your camera!
With your own camera, you'll be creating beautiful images!
In this class, we make the process amazingly simple for you even if you don't know all that much about studio lighting!
Camera must be a DSLR or Mirrorless camera (NO point-and-shoot cameras) Inquire if you have any questions about that.
Learn about studio lighting and techniques to create stunning photographs
2.5 hours of photography! Each photographer will have plenty of time to create their own images.
This workshop is not affiliated with the Spina Bifida Association. We are simply doing this to wholeheartedly support this very worthy cause.This is not tax deductible, but there are ways you can also donate to the SBA directly.Contact us for more info. Either way, we want to support the SBA!
Most importantly: 100% of the proceeds (* minus Paypal credit card transaction fees) will go directly to the Spina Bifida Association. (In other words, ALL of the funds we actually received go directly to the SBA.)
Kevin offers a wide range of photography workshops. He's been teaching photographers for decades! In his studio in NW Austin, Kevin offers classes for both beginner and advanced photographers. Kevin also believes that photographers should find ways to use their gifts to make a positive difference in the community.
