Many stay in that mode of taking photos, not really knowing what they are doing, but sometimes getting good results, <em>and sometimes not<\/em>. If you&#8217;re not satisfied with that, I encourage you to learn more about how to best use your camera.<\/p>\n<p>The starting point for you to get better images is to attain <strong><em>more control over your camera<\/em><\/strong>. That can be intimidating to dive into all those settings and options, especially on any of the modern day digital cameras.<\/p>\n<p>While camera manufacturers have tried to add more and more fancy features and more &#8216;automatic&#8217; options, they have added lots of complexity. In fact, I think they have maybe pushed this a little too far. Learn what options really matter and which settings you SHOULD be adjusting to get the best shots. You really can create better images if you do not have your camera in its fully automatic mode. It is just a machine. It is not the artist. We capture images that have great value to us. Our photographs tell our life story. We remember those special moments with loved ones. We embrace moments we will never get to experience again. I encourage you to make those images you capture the best you possibly can. \u00a0Some of the images you create will be of priceless value to you and your family later on.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you have not already taken my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kgphotoworkshops.com\/kgclass101.php\">Photography 101 Workshop<\/a>, I encourage you to consider it. And if you <em>have<\/em> taken my Photography 101 Workshop, I encourage you to consider taking my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kgphotoworkshops.com\/kgclassmtf.php\">Photography &#8211; Mastering the Fundamentals Class<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kgphotoworkshops.com\/#classes\">one of my other classes<\/a> to expand your photographic skills even further!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Student Comment:<\/em> \u00a0&#8220;I thoroughly enjoyed the Photography 101 class.
