She taught visual and performing arts in Kentucky for more than 30 years before relocating to Austin. She is also an instrument maker, making instruments from gourds, and she currently teaches arts programs to adults with disabilities in Austin.<\/li>\n<li><strong>David<\/strong> is an author and storyteller from Kentucky who brings to life the stories of his Cherokee grandmother \u2013 the \u201cTales of the Thunderbolt People\u201d. His Native name is Ta-wo-dii, Red Hawk. He is a former history teacher and Kentucky State Military Historian and is a member of the Worldcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers. David is a member of the Southern Cherokee Nation of Kentucky and both David and Mary are members of the Southeastern Kentucky Shawnee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/southwindequestrian.com\/about-us\/\"><strong>Kelly Jones<\/strong><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/southwindequestrian.com\/about-us\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-3002 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kgphotoworkshops.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/southwind.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"149\" height=\"154\"><\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/southwindequestrian.com\/about-us\/\"><strong>South Wind Equestrian Center<\/strong><\/a> is generously offering to host this at her Ponderosita Ranch in Leander.&nbsp; <em>Thank you Kelly!!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>No experience is necessary at all!&nbsp; <\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>When: 6:15pm Friday November 1st<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Where:&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/southwindequestrian.com\/about-us\/location\/\">South Wind Equestrian Center<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>Ponderosita Ranch<\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/southwindequestrian.com\/about-us\/location\/\"><span class=\"_2iem\">15214 Faubion Trl<\/span><\/a>, Leander, TX&nbsp;+1 512-689-7793<\/div>\n<h5>If some of you might want to carpool out there, let&#8217;s talk.&nbsp; We can make a plan to do that, if there&#8217;s interest.
