As I reflect on my past 17 years as a professional photographer and instructor, all I can say is wow. So many experiences. So many wonderful memories. It has been an honor and a privilege to have worked with all of you.
In my business, my highest priority has always been and always will be about you. I don’t mean just in the service I provide to you, but actually my priority is you, because you matter. You are more than a “client.” I see each of you as a friend. Each and every person who has come through the doors of my studio or who has gone on a photography workshop with me has been such a blessing to me.
I am so grateful for this unimaginable journey my profession of photography has taken me on. So many truly wonderful memories. So many great friendships. We’ve had fun. We’ve laughed together. We’ve even cried together. We experienced brief moments of life together. Thank you.
Throughout the life of my business, I have supported our local community in many ways, serving numerous nonprofit organizations for free or through donating my services or classes, as well as using my studio on Monday nights as a free gift to the community as a place to connect with others in a group called “LifeInsights.” It’s another small way of “loving my neighbors” and supporting our community.
I scanned back through some of my photos from past experiences, which of course brought back a flood of memories. I thought I’d share a few (ok, quite a few) photos here. (See below.)
The COVID-19 pandemic and historic winter storms certainly posed many challenges for us all, and we’re not done with the pandemic yet. This has definitely been an unimaginably tough time for my small business, but I am deeply grateful that with help from many of you, we’re surviving this crisis, taking it one day at a time.
Never lose hope for a better tomorrow. I just wanted to thank you all for being a part of my life. I love you all. I really do.
Thank you for supporting local small businesses like mine. I hope to see you soon in my studio or in one of my workshops, or let’s just get together for a cup of coffee or a beer. 🙂
